The Chapter was organized in the fall of 1988 under the leadership and efforts of the State President of the WASSAR, Compatriot Col. Kenneth Hawk Slaker, and State Secretary Compatriot Glenn Oliver.

Saturday 29 March, 2008 - Member Helper Day

All members are invited and encouraged to come to a Prospective Members meeting to be held March 29 from 10:30 to 12:00 at the Redmond Library at 15810 NE 85th St in Redmond. Click for a map or directions
We have approximately 20 interested applicants who would like to join Cascade Centennial Chapter of the SAR. If we all pitch in and assist them with the process we can grow our membership significantly by next year.
All those willing can team up with at least one applicant to finalize his papers. Prizes will be awarded for the first three teams to finish and receive the approved papers from National. Papers already submitted do not count.
Even if you can not assist with an applicant please attend the meeting to meet and greet these prospective new members.
The State Registrar will also be present to assist in preparation, provide guidance on documents and research, to review all application, and process any completed applications for forwarding to National.

This is really going to be a one stop shopping event - don't miss it!

Make sure you bring all source documents and files as well as appropriate checks.
